[edit] Interzone team roles

Zone Coordinators will be present in their assigned zone for their shift, and will have a zone map and details about each theme camp that is camping in their zone. Your job is to hang out, patrol your zone, and help people find where their theme camp goes - and where it shouldn't go!

Interzone Lieutenants will be at the greeter station to meet any theme camps that are headed into flipside. The Lieutenants will direct the theme camps to their correct zone and to the Zone Coordinator they can look to for help locating their theme camp location.

Interzone Coordinator/Theme Camp Placement Lead will be available as roving problem solvers for any TC issues that can't be handled by the Zone Coordinators or Lieutenants.

Flagging Volunteers will be working the Sunday prior to Flipside, starting at 1PM, to mark the theme camp locations for entire event. There may also be flagging duties on Wednesday AM.

[edit] Interzone Team on site operations =

The Interzone team will essentially follow the same protocol as the greeters while they are on duty, whether at the greeter station or in their zone. Read the Greeter training guide here: http://www.burningflipside.com/OpsWiki/index.php/Greeters#Step_1:_READ_THE_GREETER_TRAINING_GUIDE

During the event, Zone Coordinators, Interzone Lieutenants, and the Interzone Coordinator or Theme Camp Placement Lead will meet at the Greeter Station 15 minutes prior to your shift for shift hand off. We will brief you on the current situation and anything you need to know for your shift.

The Theme Camp Placement Lead and the Interzone Coordinator will be on radio during the event and can be reached from the radio at greeter station or by any ranger.

[edit] Shifts

These are the work shifts available to Interzone Team members. NOTE: you do not have to be a Zone Coordinator in your own Zone! We would appreciate the help in getting shifts covered, so if your Zone is spoken for give us a hand and meet some of your other Flipside neighbors!

[edit] Interzone Team Rules of Conduct

Members of the Interzone Team have been selected based on their maturity as theme camp leads and are expected to exhibit the values and standards that our community expresses in care and concern for members of the community. You are ambassadors to new theme camps and should seek to operate with integrity, fairness, humor, and [servant leadership]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servant_leadership to our Flipside family. Please talk to Jack if you have questions about your role, skills in your role, or code of conduct.

If at any time, you do not feel capable of resolving a situation with a theme camp or Flipside participant, contact the Interzone Lieutenant on duty, Theme Camp Placement or Interzone Coordinator, or a Ranger. You have help, please ask for it when you need it.

[edit] Interzone Team Wednesday List

Interzone Team volunteers may be on the Wednesday list if they are working a Wednesday or Thursday shift. This is to give the Interzone Team members time to set up their own camps. NOTE: This does not mean your entire camp is on the Wednesday list; this is just for the Interzone volunteer. You can bring in Theme camp infrastructure if that is part of your role with your theme camp. Interzone Team members working the Wednesday 10-4PM shift may set up their camp site after 4PM. Interzone Team members working the Wednesday 4-10PM shift may come in the morning and set up their camp site until their shift starts. Thursday Interzone volunteers may come in Wednesday AFTER 4PM and set up their camp site.
