Austin, Texas -- The Burning Flipside Sustainability Townhall is taking place on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the Moose Lodge #1735, in Austin. This is a Combustion Chamber created event for the Austin Burner community. There the CC will ask questions, bring up topics of interest, and discuss crucial information regarding this year's event and the future of Burning Flipside events. The whole sha-bang starts at 7 p.m.

Note: The Warehouse is in building/cutting/drilling mode and is incompatible with people-talk-meetings.
Update: Thank you, everyone, for coming out to the discussion. The meeting was only one of many to continue discussing the event, the community, and you. The Combustion Chamber will have more discussions in the coming weeks, and your participation is invaluable.
Regarding Tickets
Ticket registration for Burning Flipside is closed. However, after tickets are mailed there will be opportunities to trade tickets within the community. Are you subscribed to the mailing lists?
One of the main changes City Planning has instituted this year is road easements. We will have and enforce a 5 foot easement on both sides of the main roads throughout the city. This is to ensure the safety of participants, movement of emergency vehicles and to help ease traffic woes. Please do not pitch your tent or set up camp infrastructure within this easement- besides impeding movement in the city, it’s dangerous. Although we will love you no matter how many pieces you come in, we’d rather have you whole. You do not want your car or truck towed!
