Performance Art

Not all art is a thing! Many in this community would argue that most of the art at Flipside is the impromptu performance art that is created in the temporary space of the city. If you’re in costume, consider cranking it up a notch and acting the persona of your appearance! Flipside gives you a world where instead of dressing like a pecan grove faerie, you can be one!

More organized and rehearsed than the roving interaction that is the event at large, many participants bring skits, shows, games, bands, sets, and such performances that ask for an audience and a venue – we’re here to help with that as well! For 2011, we’re working on putting together performers and theme camp venues – do you have a stage, performance room, PA, or venue at your camp? Or are you an artist or troupe in need of a place or facility to do your thing? We want to match you up!
