Everything is art...maybe

I think the most important thing to realize about defining what art is...is that it doesn't necessarily need to be beautiful to anyone or appreciated by anyone...except for maybe the creator.

I could see the case that something is considered art if anyone finds it appealing. Or if atleast the artist created it to be considered art.

But then again, what about art in nature, or uninentional art. A flower could be considered art made by nature. They are beautiful. I don't believe something needs to be created by a human to be considered art.

And even things that are not conventionally considered art... could be considered art. I'm typing on a keyboard and most people wouldn't consider that art. But someone had to come up with the design, the shape, and creativity was part of the process. every keyboard does the same thing, but some are cooler designed then others. product design is often overlooked in the art world.

or we could go the websters dictionary to see what art is... but that would be lame :)
