Is it ok to leave after Sunday's big burn?

one of our campmates needs to be at work Monday morning (5/31/10). I see that the gate times go until 6pm so that the gate attendees can enjoy the burn. Would our campmate be able to stay for the burn and leave afterwards? or will they need to leave before 6pm sunday in accordance with the gate times?
