Description
Area: Retired Lead
This lead position was eliminated in 2013 due to lack of interest.
Dress up Site Operations, LLC, and other golf carts as "mutants" as inspired by the theme and coordinated with DMV. Consider shade structures and other infrastructure decoration projects as able. This Lead will consult with the Safety AF as necessary.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Organize a team of volunteers to create fascia to apply to rental infrastructure golf carts. Does not have to be thematic - just make art of our necessary equipment! Devote 5-10 hours a week during the spring leading up to the event. Conceptualize easy-to remove, unobtrusive, lightweight add-ons for carts. Apply pieces to carts at delivery prior to the event, remove on Sunday or Monday. Blinky! Fun noises!
(potential, pending LLC/AF direction and completion of above tasks) Also consider being the "enforcement arm" of the DMV - assist participants in cARTifying their own vehicles for acceptable use of Pyropolis roads, or assist them to their final parking spot. Facilitate gels onto headlights.
Other Entities/Leads with Whom the Lead Likely Will Collaborate
- DMV
- Safety
- Motor Pool
