Area: Art
The DMV Lead is responsible for clearing mutant vehicles for event travel (this includes determining what constitutes an art car). This Lead is responsible for organizing the enforcement of parking and driving policies (cars that aren't registered with the DMV and cleared for during-event travel are not to be operated during the event, save loading and unloading). This Lead is ideally very organized and a good communicator.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Manage the licensing and registration of mutant vehicles: Manage online registration tool, contact artists prior to event to set expectations and assist with concerns. Be responsible for team of DMV volunteers who greet, check in, inspect, and license art cars for use in Pyropolis. Be on call for questions/concerns.
