Load-Out/Volunteering
From Pyropopedia
Load-Out Transportation or "Load In/Out" is a volunteer-driven department of Burning Flipside which delivers Burning Flipside core infrastructure (and only infrastructure) and drops it off at Pyropolis. It is also tasked with picking it up and bringing it back to the Warehouse. Theme camps sometimes ask to piggy-back their stuff in the InfraTruck and the answer is "no."

On Volunteering
Volunteer for Load-In/Out and get a good work out. You'll have plenty of fun, seriously.
A volunteer for Load-In/Out is dedicated to helping the Transport Lead, not to be confused with the Shaven Apes.
Perks
- Stay late: It's true, volunteers often stay until Tuesday getting an extra day of work and a night of serious fun
- Meet new people: I really don't have words to describe how much more fun you'll have after busting ass on a project and then kicking it after

There are TWO Load-Ins/Outs Before The Burn
Warehouse p.m.
The First Load-in
On Saturday night, May 17, 2008, at 7 p.m., we'll gather at the Warehouse with the Shaven Apes and whatever hands are on deck for loading the truck. Be awesome. Lend a hand. Be on deck. There will be an obvious place set aside at the Warehouse for Infrastructure Stuff, and it will be open by noon.

On Sunday, May 18, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., we'll gather at Pyropolis with the Shaven Apes and whatever hands are on deck for unloading the truck.

The Second Load-Out Before The Burn
Warehouse a.m.
On Wednesday morning, May 21 around 9 a.m. we'll drive out from the Warehouse and caravan to Pyropolis. We will meet up with the Shaven Apes and other core volunteers to unload the InfraTruck around ASAP.

Load-In After the Burn
On Tuesday afternoon, after The Burn, May 27th (not that we would remember dates by then) we'll go around Pyropolis picking up the staged infrastructure and loading in the containers and gathered, boxed, and tagged equipment.

Note: If we can't bring everything back, which is likely, we'll be back on Saturday, May 31st, to pick up what's left. We'll unload at the Warehouse on Sunday, June 1st, at 7 p.m.
Load-Out At the Warehouse
On Wednesday night, May 28, 2008, after the showers, the unpacking, and the culture shock, we'll get back together again for an impromptu Decompression at the Warehouse to unload the InfraTruck.
