Volunteer with the Rangers
Are you interested in attending Ranger training? Choose a training class below and sign up!
(We will *not* have any new or local Ranger training on-site during Flipside. You must attend a training session beforehand, or you will not be eligible to take any Ranger shifts.)
Here's the current training schedule:
Austin/Elgin Ranger Trainings
Four dates are available:
- Sun 22-Apr, 10am-5pm (Elgin)
- Sun 29-Apr 10am-5pm (Central Austin)
- Sat 5-May 10am-5pm (Elgin)
- Sat 12-May 10am-5pm (Central Austin)

Returning Rangers from Elsewhere Training
This training slot is only for returning Rangers from distant lands!
Thu 24-May (On-Site at Flipside)
If you're new or live near any of the other training locations, you cannot attend this training.

Dallas Ranger Training
For any North Texas Rangers who can't make it to Safetyside.
- Where: Geo and RoadRash's House
- When: Sun Apr 29, noon
- What to bring: A chair, and food/bevs for pot luck

Houston Ranger Training
For Houstonians who can't make it to Safetyside.
- Where: Goldfish's House
- When: Sat Apr 21, 10am
- Minor Ground Rules:
- Plan to attend the whole training and arrive on time
- BYO Chair
- Plan to dedicate all of your attention to training and socializing with rangers
- BYOB

Safetyside 2012
- Where: Apache Pass
- When: Mar 23-25
If at all possible, this is where you should be! Stay out at Apache Pass with Rangers and all of the other safety teams! More details later, but plan to arrive Fri night (fun), training Sat morning (interspersed with fun), communal dinner and After Dinner Theatre, then Fun!
Then, sleep (maybe...) then Fun....
