Area: Site Sign-Off
The Recycling Lead facilitates Flipside's recycling operations. Responsibilities include the organization for the collection, sorting and eventual removal of recyclable items and organization of volunteers.
Responsibilities and Tasks
This lead position is responsible for organizing the activities of Flipside's Recycling Camp. This includes decisions about hours of recycling operation, what to recycle, and where to take recyclables after the event. The recycling lead organizes the volunteers that run recycling camp and works closely with the Earth Guardian lead who educates about Leave No Trace and sustainability principles and with the Clean-up lead who is responsible for returning the land in a better state than before Burning Flipside.
